Screed exists because the software didn’t fit the trade.
It was started by someone who spent years on the construction side — building paver estimates in a trailer at 6am and texting material orders from the truck. The tools on offer were built for general contractors and priced like it, built for lawn care, or too generic to know what goes under a paver.
A patio is six layers, each with its own quantity, its own supplier and its own way to go wrong. So Screed starts where the work starts: the outline of the job. Every layer is sized from it, the order comes from the estimate, the crews are scheduled against it, and what went in the ground is recorded against it. One record, bid to backfill.
Brikt LLC d/b/a Screed is based in Florida and builds for hardscape subcontractors first: the owner-operator, the company running crews, and the sub working for general contractors.
